<  OTSM - TRIZ Application to Bypassing Material Patents(Substance Patents) >


* Hongyul Yoon, CEO of TRIZ Center, has counselled researchers to bypass material patents(substance patents) 

  according to OTSM-based TRIZ.

  From June 14th to August 30th, four target patents were analyzed with ENV model of OTSM 

  and bypassed to result in new original technology patents owned by the customer, RIST.

  (RIST stands for 'Research Institute of Science and Industrial Technology')

  Those target patents are about the mass ratios and certain ways of spatial distribution

  of some materials which compose a plated layer on a steel product 

  and are essential to improve the surface characteristics of it.


  The main steps of this patent circumvention with OTSM are as the following:

     1. Claim Analysis based on ENV Model of OTSM

     2. Advanced Multi-Screen Thining with 3 Postulate Analysis of OTSM

     3. Application of the Adapted Ideal Way based on Patent Infringement Criteria 

     4. Problem Flow Technology of OTSM
